It is believed his BIRTHMOM was also an ADOPTEE. She was 19 yrs. old when he was born. We are told her adoptive Father was a Doctor and that they lived in Guilford County. When the birthmom was about 13 yrs. old, she left her adoptive household and entered Foster Care. We believe this was due to the adoptive family breaking up. She had a "birth brother" who was a year older and had been adopted with her. He had graduated from High School and was serving in the Military in 1978 when his sister's baby boy was born. 07/19/1978 (posted 4/6/02) FOUND FEMALE ADOPTEE searching for birthparent. I was born in or near Mecklenburg Co.at 1:02 AM. I weighed 6 lbs. 11 oz. and was 20 in. long. The birthmom had no pre-natal care and was 14 years old. I was discharged to my birthmom on July 21, 1978. I am Caucasian with fair complexion and blue eyes. I was placed in the custody of the Mecklenburg Co. DSS at 3 months of age due to neglect on 11/3/1978 and was placed in Foster Care until I was adopted on 6/12/1979. I was told I was severly neglected with persistent rash covering my body, problems with nasal passages and ear infections. At age 3 1/2 months I weighed 12 lbs. 8 oz. My birthmother was 5'9" and weighed 135 lbs with brown hair & blue eyes. She had completed 9th grade. The biological parents later married between the time that DSS took me and the date of my final relinquishment on 4/3/1979. The birthmom had RH-negative blood and the father was 0-negative. The father was 5'9" weighed 175 lbs with blonde hair and green-blue eyes. He was 16 and had gone as far as 8th grade. He worked in a factory. I had repeatedly been left at home with birthmom's 11-year-old half-sister. The Birthmom's Mother and stepfather abused alcohol. The stepfather died after I was taken. My 14-year-old birthmom had been skipping school, leaving me with 11 year old while she went to birthfather's and drank alcohol.
